Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal Delhi Vande Bharat Express on December 30, 2023. This new addition to the rail network will not only connect Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal but also precede the inauguration of several development projects.
Advancing Connectivity for Pilgrims
The Ayodhya Cantt to Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express is designed to offer semi-high-speed train services, enhancing connectivity between Delhi and Ayodhya Cantt station. The strategic timing of its launch aligns with the upcoming consecration ceremony at the Ram Mandir in January 2024, providing pilgrims with a comfortable and world-class AC train travel option.
Schedule and Stoppage Information
Train Number 22426: Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Departing from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi at 6:10 AM, the Vande Bharat Express will reach Ayodhya Cantt station at 2:30 PM, covering the journey in 8 hours and 20 minutes. The train will make stops at Kanpur Central and Lucknow during its route.
Train Number 22425: Anand Vihar to Ayodhya On the same day, in the reverse direction, Train Number 22425 will leave Ayodhya Cantt station at 3:20 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:40 PM, maintaining the 8 hours and 20 minutes travel time. The train will operate every day except Wednesdays, with regular services commencing from January 4, 2024.
