NEW DELHI: The federal government has prolonged the export ban on onion until additional orders, in line with a notification of the commerce ministry.Earlier, it was prohibited until March 31 this 12 months.”Export prohibition on export of onions valid till 31st March 2024, is extended until further orders,” the Directorate Common of Overseas Commerce (DGFT) has stated in a notification dated March 22.DGFT is an arm of the ministry which offers with exports and imports-related points.
